The Shelter is located in Pichis Pachitea river bank, in the area known as Puerto LA RAMPA. It has comfortable and simple rooms, good food and large gardens where it's possible to camp.
The staff of Humboldt Shelter is always available to give information and plan trecks with all travellers of humbolian soul.
It also has a nice library, coffee, music and very low budget prices.

It´s the best acommodation in the region, electricity available from 8am till 11pm. It has double rooms and dormitories, and a place for camping in the large beautiful gardens. The owner is nice and warm. He plans all sorts of trecks to observe the wildlife in a valley dwelled by Ashaninkas' communities.

Humboldt Shelter has created one of the most pleasant experiences of peruvian rainforest.
The members of the staff speak english, they cook a delicious spanish and peruvian food and they plan journeys to the jungle, while backpackers share their travel experiences in the lovely library, on the comfortable hammocks, enjoying the excellent music,coffee and huge gardens.
The guides are ashaninka natives and if required by the group, the Humboldt Shelter can also provide another guide and translator. The staff of Humboldt Shelter gives you all the information and help that each traveller needs to plan his own expedition.
